Oscillator Based Scalping (Forex Majors)This is a scalping strategy based on oscillator divergences. Tested on ForexICE market data. Signal might appear and disappear during candle making since it is based on Moving Average and therefore acts on close, but since candle closed signal is final and does not repaint. 1M timeframes is recommended for bot trading. 5M-15M is more suitable for manual trading. Full list of tested intraday timeframes below: EUR-USD - 1M-5M-15M USD-JPY - 1M-5M GBP-USD - 1M AUD-USD - 1M-5M-15M USD-CHF - 1M-15M NZD-USD - 1M-5M-15M USD-CAD - 1M-5M There is 2 more similar trading strategies that im finishing now, 1 for BITMEX ETHUSD and XBTUSD contracts, and 1 for bitmex alts. Should be ready in a day or two. Additional notes on executing trades: -Trade should be entered as close to sell signal as possible. You can enter at market at red circle candle or at limit at top of sell signal candle. In both cases your target is red Moving Average and entering at market just makes overall R/R for a trade is lower yet limit order might not always get filled. -This strategy doesnt have a defined stop loss by itself, but your target is a moving average and 1-1 risk reward should be enough. Although the win rate is much higher than 50% so you can be less greedy if you feel like playing it safer. -Strategy itself uses pyramiding, so i would recommend averaging up if you get 2-3 consecutive sell signals above moving average. -It is assumed that you have OANDA spread rates or better. -- Free trial for 24 hours. [New series!] [Consistent Losing Strategies] 34 EMA Scalping//---------------------------INTRO------------------------------ Hi All! Let me introduce myself as a semi-successful forex trader & lover of automation. I've taken to algo trading and have been hunting down strategies (that usually use indicators) to automate, backtest, and hopefully implement in MT4. Unfortunately, most strategies are complete bulls*** and the select cases that are shown to "prove" success are limited. These strategy sources often do not provide useful analytics either. I want to change that approach to trading! We can really benefit each other and the community by being methodical about backtesting as well as evaluating our results with some kind of scoring heuristic. As for what that standardized process looks like..well I'm still working on it. I'm pretty much on Tv for multiple hours of the day, screening strategies via Pinescript and I'd like to start sharing my progress! This is a new series I'd like to start on consistently losing strategies. Market is in an down trend as shown by the 34 EMA 2. Price breaks above a downwards trend line 3. Price breaks above the 34 EMA 4. Look for a very bullish candlestick or chart pattern SELL: 1. Look for the 34 EMA to show we are in an uptrend 2. Price breaks below an upwards sloping trend line 3. Price breaks below 34 EMA 4. Look for a bearish candlestick or a chart pattern //---------------------------CONC------------------------------ Q: Why does it fail? A: I believe this strategy relies too much on subjective input (aka, trendlines). Q: Why does it fail as an algo? A: The 34 EMA is no more predictive than any other EMA, although it does a good job at filtering out noise. Q: Should I try it out? A: No, it's trash. This is the proof that it is trash.

HMA EABy default, the strategy works best on 1h timeframe. In theory, it should run well on any timeframe, but you will absolutely need to adjust the Hull Resolution. I recommend starting with 4x the current view (aka, if you are using 5m candles, set the resolution to 20min, which is 4 * 5m). The settings are pretty self explanatory: Start Month - Month of the year to begin backtest (automatically beings at 1st of month) Risk Per Trade (%) - How much of your equity to risk on each trade. Leverage - Amount of buying power/Margin you have available Loss (pips) - Distance in pips from the entry to place Stop Loss Profit (pips) - Distance in pips from entry to place target Take Profit Trigger Trail (%) - Distance in percentage from entry to begin a trailing Stop Loss Trail Dist. (pips) - Offset distance of trailing Stop Loss Hull Res. (min) - Length of candle in minutes to use when calculating the HMA Hull Period (bars) - Smoothing period for HMA

Working strategy for ANY market I'm really impressed with this strategy. It is extremely simple, uses only one indicator (accelerator decelerator oscillator) with the standard settings, and works in almost every market I tested it on. Crypto-currencies - BTC, ETH, XRP - everywhere exceed buy & hodl. Works even in stock markets and FOREX markets (albeit not as efficiently). You really should try this, leave impressions in the comments. I will improve this strategy with filters for increasing Percent Profitable rate, so stay tuned!

Series of Heikin ashi candle strategySeries of Heikin ashi candle strategy, idea and rules: After 2 consecutive heikin ashi candles of same color, place a buy stop order at high of last candle if green or a sell stop order at low of last candle if red. SMA_CrossThis strategy is a variation of standard sma cross that comes as default with pine script The idea is to NOT wait for a cross between fast and slow moving averages but to anticipate it considering the distance between the two MAs Strategy can be used also for scalping, just need to be optimized for low tiime frames as 1 minute or 5 minute. TIP: stay far from resistance and supports. I use my script "LCS/HCR Support and Resistance multi timeframes" to easily identify major supports and resistance areas (note that I said areas and not lines). Thanks to ChrisMoody: I used his code snippet for switching between various moving average types and calculation of TEMA and HULL ma. Understanding the Technical Indicator Pool The Technical Indicator Pool is a strategy that operates on the premise that when many technical indicators project the same sentiment, they are concurrently more precise. The technical indicator pool contains five indicators 1. Small MACD Moving Average (SFMA) (10,15) 2. Large MACD Moving Average (LFMA) (13,18) 3. Parabolic Stop and Reverse (PSAR) (0.05, 0.05, 0.05) 4. Relative Strength Index (RSI) (14, 70, 30) 5. H/L Pivot (13) When all five indicators project the same sentiment within a defined period (known as BarPeriod), an order is placed in the direction of sentiment.
